Post by taxico » Sat, 09 Feb 2013 7:16 pm

i was just out for a 1 hour drive... around dinner time.

awesomely peaceful, with very little traffic.

if only the roads were dry too...

it should be like that all the time.

Blew a hole in my radiator and can't fix till next week because every mechanic seems to be Chinese....... sadly can't take advantage of the empty roads this year :(

Funny Bugger, even assuming I've found the hole, which at the moment I've not! I could also tip in a bottle of Radweld but I'd still rather wait to get it fixed properly so fingers crossed for the next couple of days and my workshop reopens.

I once patched a hole in a radiator hose using mylar food wrapper and some string. It was a Sunday late evening on the expressway on an arterial exit without a building in sight. At least I got the car home. :)
