1 month holiday, Koh Samui - Bali

Dear forum fellows, since i got the oppurtunity do make 1 month leave i want to explore myself the wonderfull places on this earth i either want to go to Bali or/and Ko Samui ... Do you recommend to go only to 1 of these places? and which one would you prefer and why ... or is 1 month enough, that/s what i planned, to explore both islands? i dont want to be in a hurry, if i like a place i easily stay there a few days, rent a motorbike, explore the beaches and of course nightlife, make photos, write letters lying on the beach, read books .... smoke .. cigarettes, eat satay freshly made on the beach, talk with people etc.

lucky you, wish i cld do that too! Love Bali bec it is so diverse. Go to Kuta n u get the sand, sea (brillant sunset), booze n babes. Go to Ubud n u get volcanos, padi fields n serenity. If u hv $ to splurge, rent a villa, if not there r cheap hotels in Kuta area though I personally feel it's too noisy. hope this helps though i do think i'm biase. both balinese n thais are equally friendly n hospitable. cheers n enjoy yrself where ever u go.
