Have you been behind the idea of her work illegally?
I am afraid it's rather years than months.

Working without a valid work pass? Probably a permanent ban. If you are married, you only choice now would be to immigrate to VN.
Here is a prime example of why they still need to import FTs.

Out of curiosity, are you SC? PR? EP/WP? Where are you from.
You misspell Singapore like a Vietnamese.

i think you should think about this rationally man. love alone does not conquer all. or at least, the emotions you now think is love.

you and your wife knew before you got married that your marriage does not automatically qualify her for any type of work pass, right?
i'm trying not to judge, but there are lots and lots of other places to work illegally and not get caught, especially since you're a singaporean. not easy money like a KTV place, is what it is, but i'm just sayin...
don't blame the system for neglecting you. off you go then.

I hope this thread gets picked up by TR or AsiaOne etc. They need to know about this Singaporean who opines that he got neglected by the government and his struggles revolves around his Vietnamese wife who got caught in KTV.

I'm
trying not to be judgemental too, but here we have a person who marries a Vietnamese lady, seems to have strong feelings for her (willing to leave the country, etc.), but is OK for her to work in a KTV bar??? I don't get it.

He got suckered. She doesn't have faith in the marriage because he's no longer of any possible perceived use to her.

Yes, it's hard to avoid coming to that conclusion, isn't it?
Bota206, you will know best of all - if this is the situation then your best bet is to cut your losses now. I can't see it working out if you were to go to Vietnam with your wife TBH. Sorry to be blunt, but sometimes it's best to stand back at look at the situation objectively.
