Post by akay » Sat, 02 Feb 2013 8:26 pm

Hi - I'm looking for a sim card for my iphone, mostly for data and to some phone calls. I don't want to be locked into a contract. Does anyone have any suggestions? thank you in advance. A

Are there pre-pay here? How does this work with data usage?

You can do pre-paid or one of Singtel's 'sim only' plans for no contract. It won't be possible to get LTE, but you can use the piss-poor 3G network here.

All three carriers are pretty comparable. Here is a link to Singtel's prepaid page:

I usually recommend the $7 for 7 days plan if it's just for email/whatsapp/facebook without a lot of photos.

I've found M1's prepaid service to be a bit better than the others of late.
