I would definitely like to try that Screening Room that treble mentioned. It's different.

Anyway, other than the usual GV, Shaw and Cathay, there's also Filmgarde at Bugis+. It was also new to me, but that was the only place in Singapore where they screened Rurouni Kenshin for me. The cinema itself was actually huge, despite the small lobby.

And risky, of course they're nice if they want to get in your pants... :wink:

Btw Slinger, I guess I shouldn't categorize Purple as old, is it? Just that they always play Summer of 69 and Beatles song whenever I'm there...that was actually the first time I heard them play Prince. :lol: But the drink, the mood and the atmosphere that came with it is what I needed at the time :cool:

In case you didn't know already: AFS is hosting Francophonie in March, and will show a movie each on Tue 19, Wed 20, Thu 21 Mar. And then there is a mini French music concert on Sun 21.
