I have seen this in the past, twice. Both times on car enthusiast forums.
Are we self destructing?

What we have experienced recently is the troll who posted those dreadful photos. And more recently another member who was extended the courtesy (initially) of being let off on quite a long leash, but apparently lacked self-control. However any half-way decent troll intends and manages to stoke up a s***-storm, and ultimately they usually get their result... and then reap the resulting whirlwind.
This forum is usually not a natural habitat for these kind of troubled people. I've been on internet newsgroups and latterly forums for nearly 30 years now so I've seen just about all manner of behaviour. Stick around a little while here though, and you'll soon see why I say this site is good, we just got hit with a mini-cluster of bad apples that have now been shut down. On a site with any vigour and character you have to expect that now again. Trust me it is way better than having a forum where every post has to be pre-moderated before appearing/publishing.
the one that insisted Singaporeans spoke perfect English, and that he's never ever heard anyone speak Singlish? hahahaBrah wrote:
It's pretty cyclic when a troll or poster shows up, like that moron last year with the YouTube clip (SMS will remember), but these people don't last long and usually leave with their tail between their legs.
Exactly. Wish I still had that clip....I think he took it down. I would have downloaded it and re-uploaded it just to see all the comments.Splatted wrote:the one that insisted Singaporeans spoke perfect English, and that he's never ever heard anyone speak Singlish? hahahaBrah wrote:

You have to have the image hosted externally and then hot-linked to your message on this forum. I use photobucket.com (as the external host) but there are more around. Just create an account over there, upload the image, find what is the web address of the image (called direct link in photobucket) and put this address between these two tags [ img ] the address [ / img ] (with no spaces inside).Brah wrote:I still want to post a picture of something related to this, but I don't know on this particular forum - anyone?x9200 wrote:I though a major clash over shark fin soup you had
