Post by nitpas » Thu, 24 Jan 2013 10:49 pm

Hi All,

I have applied PR 3 times and I am working as a IT (Network Security) Engineer, Degree: Bachelor of Engineering

I have EP2 pass and my family is on DP.

I have applied PR 3 times and now the 4th time 2 month back.
My salary is near 60k Annual.

Total Singapore stay is 3+

My wife has a Degree as well she is MBA in Finance stream
baby girl she was born in Singapore.
I will be changing my Job soon.. the present company i have completed 3_ years or work.
I am an Indian.

Now I really want to know the expats to guide or have a suggestion why I am not getting PR and what are the possibilities the 4th time , still it is in Pending state.

Regards..

You have applied 3 times in 3 years? You have already sent the wrong signal to ICA. You sound desperate. You odds? I wouldn't give a wooden nickle for your chances. But we have seen worse things happen so go ahead. At least until you get that letter that says "you are welcome to stay here on and EP and work but........"

Yes, if a person's mindset is there to achieve a goal which in your terms is desperate I must say yes I am desperate to get PR to contribute to the economy with my talent and in return get a good lifestyle for my family
and there are no restriction of the application ICA suggest to apply after Evey 6 months. So no question of ODDS.

But thanks for the suggestion it is accepted with Gratitude Sir/Mam

I dont understand, what is there to "achieve" and what kind of "goal" is that? What will you do if you get PR? Buy a house(aka an overpriced pigeon hole with all sorts of restrictions)? With a salary of 5k and so much job insecurity in this country do you think the stress and struggle is worth the achievement? All this for what? Few clean roads and a perception of safety against crime? You guys must rethink what you are really after

Wd40 , lets put it this way , I am not sure which country r u from , I come from India , and yes we strive there for good health /towns/safety/education/high cost/low standard of living/Corruption/30% Tax no medical benefit/Gas/petrol/no public transports /kidnapping of children/molesting of children/ Life like small cockroaches ( every day girl gets rapped in My country) I defiantly would like to send you to India and make you stay there :o after staying there I will defiantly ask u the same question again, it will be an eye opener.

I know that there are drawbacks in every country, but not/negligible in Singapore and now I have daughter so my decision is very firm my friend. Me and my wife are highly qualified and now its just the beginning :D

Dude, I dont know which part of India you are from, I am from Bangalore. Although I agree that there are problems but the way you are putting it is as if the country is totally unlivable. I guess its all the negative media that is going on in India, that is feeding the NRIs to have this halo around them that they have escaped from hell and come to heaven, to justify their decision. Earlier it was moving to greener pastures. Now that the pastures are no longer green, how else do you justify your decision, isnt it? Good luck man with your PR endeavors!

HI ALL:-- My Query is not that my decision is write or wrong or it is good or bad regarding PR. It is solely my decision to apply or not apply to say or not say All are getting off track on my Post

Please let me know the General criteria ... will I get PR on the criteria which I have right now , are there any past cases like this who got PR.. This is my query. Thanks

Regards..

Negative points - Your trade is not a skill Singapore is short of either locally or import.

I have EP2 pass and my family is on DP.

If you were on a P1 would have good

I have applied PR 3 times and now the 4th time 2 month back.

Very very negative points and probably blown any slim chance you may have

My salary is near 60k Annual.

Is on the low side for PR approval these days.

Total Singapore stay is 3+

4 PR applications in less than 3 years!!

My wife has a Degree as well she is MBA in Finance stream
baby girl she was born in Singapore.

No points for having a girl

I will be changing my Job soon.. the present company i have completed 3_ years or work.

Negative points, Unfortunately you are not flavour of the month or even year

Now I really want to know the expats to guide or have a suggestion why I am not getting PR and what are the possibilities the 4th time , still it is in Pending state.

As you can see from above, you don’t have many if any positive points to support your PR application. And as for submitting your 4th application in 3 years???

OP - perhaps conider migrating somewhere else. Canada/USA/Australia are still accepting people with your skills. I think the door is closed in Singapore.
Now I'm called PNGMK

It’s your personal choice where you want to live and no harm in trying for that. ..But what you have written is completely non-sense. Yes, India has its own problem but it’s not in a condition as you ‘ve described.

Other thing, after 3+ years you're getting used to live in SG and dun want to move out already, isn't it? :)
But I would work your salary up to at least P1 requirement 1st before applying for PR. Not sure how will it look:you are earning 10K/month after 3 more years, but have 10 failed PR application attempts in the past. I think. your application will go immediately to basket.
