How do you get recommendations from your colleagues/past employers? Anything in particular that the letter should state? Do you upload it as additional documents in the portal? So just keep on trying, continue to upgrade your profile, get recommendations from your colleagues / mentors and past & present employers etc.
The general population isn't asked for their opinion and they are not recognized as valid recommendations like an employer or MP or other ranking individual here whose name is recognized by all races here. Don't waste people's time here if you don't have a clue.lot286 wrote:you should make friends with the singapore population enough so they will recommend you to be part of the population.

During hardcopy submission last time, ICA only accepted recommendation letters from Past/Present Employers and colleagues, not friendslot286 wrote:you should make friends with the singapore population enough so they will recommend you to be part of the population.
As I said, ICA didn’t accept any of my local friend’s recommendation letter, only from colleagues & employers.raixsnchz wrote:I've been here almost 4 years. My boyfriend is Singaporean and incidentally, I've made a lot of local friends. I met most of them at work or from community & church. Just wondering if I ask them for recommendation, what should it state and roughly how many will I need?
