This is not correct.
To my limited knowledge, Work Permit, which is aimed for foreign un-skilled workers, only granted to workers who are from Approved source country/territory, and Vietnam is not in the list of Approved source country/territory.

Garfield26, I believe you are correct as well.

But often when people post without proper spelling, grammar, etc. it causes misunderstandings. The post in question states work permit without capitalization. Therefore that would tend to include all flavours of work permits from Work Permit through the S, Q & EP types of Employment Passes. Maybe SE was reading the post literally as often it is hard to second guess posters thoughts.

Or, SE was replying based on the fact that LTVP was mentioned. That is incorrect. It must be the LTVP+ and not the LTVP.

However, Vietnam nationals can get Employment Passes & S passes if they are suitably qualified.
