My S Pass was rejected

Post by thutranghnvn » Mon, 21 Jan 2013 2:09 pm

i am vietnamese, 25 years old, we have a group of 5 people interviewed in vietnam by Japanese employer in Singapore, i have been waiting from Nov 2012, i have just known that our S pass were rejected and the agent in vn said that the reason is beacause we are vietnamese, but i dont think so, she also didnt let me know one of us was rejected or all, i just know that our company did appeal and we have to wait for more 2 weeks, i am very worried, our job is assistant in a shop, and in the first 6 months we have 1000 SGD, then extend the spass to 2 years and salary will be 2000 SGD, can anyone give me some advice

The salary you've mentioned and the job you've mentioned is under-qualified for S Pass. No wonder you guys got rejected.

I think so, i also think the salary is low, but the company said that the first 6 month is the training time so the salary will be low, i also think it doesnt fit S pass, :(

Don't waste your money on such agents. You are better to stay behind and use that money and start your own business. Many people rather open business in Vietnam than in Singapore.

Vietnam nationals are not eligible for work permit in Singapore, unless you have LTVP ( like spouse of PR or Singapore Citizen). Your agent seems to be very unreliable. Be careful, don't waste money on them.
