Hot Yoga in Singapore

Post by GachGal » Sat, 19 Jan 2013 5:32 am

Hello! I will be moving to Singapore from Austin this upcoming July and while I am totally pumped about it, the only thing I will miss from my neighborhood is my hot yoga studio that I've been attending for the past 4 years.

I wanted to get people's opinions about hot yoga studios in Singapore. Is it worth the crazy prices I've seen posted, or should I just stick to trying to do yoga outside? :D Thanks for any advice!

There are a few community centres around Singapore and they are quite affordable. they do yoga, pilates and even aerobics classes in a group.

there are a lot of hot yoga studios in SG. i think most of the nicer ones are near the city centre to cater to the working professional crowd. bikram yoga seems be pretty popular here.. google studios around raffles place and orchard area.

sg is hot, drink coconut water! ;)

Bikram Hot Yoga in the Heart of the City

Post by roxycatz » Sun, 04 Aug 2013 11:21 pm

I get my bikram hot yoga done at Raffles City Shopping Centre #02-14.
Its called "Bikram Yoga City Hall". Apparently the 1st authroised Bikram studio to open in Singapore since 2006.

The heat is great and constant, absolutely fanstic high quality service and the location is really good (just above city hall mrt).

The best part is that the mats are provided so you dont have to bring yours, and the mats are literally sent to laundry after each person has used it.

so go try it.

Anahata Yoga in Little India is a really nice place as well, and very reasonable prices.
