2 years old child needs a really good doctor. Please help to find one in Singapore! We are from Russia. Who has a real experience?

Hi. Pediatrics at the International Medical Center are very good - check them out: http://www.imc-healthcare.com/home
Another rather popular place is Kinder Clinic: http://www.kinderclinic.com.sg/Kinder_Clinic/Home.html

Good luck!

Hi, sorry to hear about your child.

I think what you need is a paediatrician who sub-specialize in Neurology. Beware that many people will introduce you a General paediatrician but they most probably will not have your child much.

YOu can call the SMG patient centre at (65) 96971000 and they may be able to help you further.

I know the post is old, but just in case the information is still required, I'd recommend Dr. Ong Hian Tat at NUH.

The best doctor you could hope for this condition in Singapore.

Our son was diagnosed with West Syndrome at 4 months. Thankfully our Paed pushed for an appointment with Dr. Ong and we got one 2 days later (we could only get an appointment 3 weeks out). Our son is now on the road to recovery because he was diagnosed and on an agressive treatment plan so soon after (3 days after the first EEG he was on 30mg of Prednisolone/day). After 6 months, we're talking about "remission" and even "cure".

Hopefully you've got the help you need and your child is well.
