In a decision that wasn't really my idea, my wife and I have left Singapore, and are now back in Houston, Texas.
This has been a heck of an adjustment... and no, I am not yet adjusted. However, I still read the board daily, if 13 or 14 hours behind you all.
Best to all... wish I were back in Sillypore in spite of the ongoings.
Strong Eagle.

Good to hear from you.
Methinks you will be in good company soon, as per the last Eagles thingy at least one has left and at least one (moi) is likely to.
There could be a whole thread on returning home or going elsewhere for those who have been here a while, it would be interesting to hear the differences.

Good luck Strong Eagle, I would imagine, you will soon fill up your garage with all the exotic Motorbikes that you can find. Also you would enjoy riding the Valkyrie(or whatever new bike you buy) on the interstate highways much more than on this tiny red dot
Brah, I am actually surprised that we still dont have thread with people who left. The expatsingapore forum has several of those threads.

A lot who have left are still regulars here on an almost daily basis. This is like a 2nd home. There are the odd threads looking to moving back to home but most who move home generally already know what to do as it's reverse engineering?

Glad to know that you're back safely. I must say that I had the pleasure of meeting you in person in one of the eagles gathering before you left.
All the best to you and your wife over there!

Hey SE, glad to see you still posting here; I hope things settle down for you over the coming weeks and months. As one of my old hippy friends once said, just accentuate the positive, man!

Well they don't call it the angry board for nothing. Most attempts at serious discussion on there seem to turn into abusive slanging matches, peppered by puerile rants from local trolls. Might be better to start a thread here IMO.
Be careful what you wish for
