VC of the MC after 6 months eh? There is a tendency for those positions to go to people with the time and inclination, rather than to those who might be best able to fulfill the role. The danger is no one has the time or interest, so things end up in the hands of 'all the little Hitlers' who want to run things their way, rather than the proper way.

On the plus side, it sounds like you have the MO on your side. You could pay her a visit and ask her what her concern is, as no rules appear to be being broken. Although in Asia such a direct/honest approach tends to be avoided at all costs.

Why not brief your maid, and tell her that if this woman approaches her/them and challenges her, then to politely outline the rules, and ask on what basis she has a complaint.

Otherwise, just keep the MO updated on any harrassment*, and keep them onside (your side!). With people like this it is (IMHO) very likely that your maid is just one of many victims. Refer Vexatious Litigant etc.

* via e-mail can be useful, in case you wish to refer to the written record in future.

She's moved fast! Unfortunately if the OP's LL doesn't get involved I think the OP is going to be looking for a new place to live. I'm glad to here the MO/MA has been cooperative. With a bit of luck the aggressor will overstep her bounds and assault and steal something - at that time ACT has hard as you damn well can. Engage lawyers - threaten to sue - file police reports and drag the whole damn MC into the mess and make them bloody well sweat. Singapore courts do not TOLERATE domestic worker abuse - do not forget that.

Engaging lawyers will cost money and time and this unfortunate member of MC is probably coming right from the proverb, the bell is loud because it is empty, plus the usual dose of arrogancy. I met such people here before (who didn't) and watching how they transform to some humble peasants just by an ordinary police officer explaining them their inappropriate behaviour and possible legal consequences is truly priceless.

Just write a commentary to the newspapers without naming anybody. You can just mention your opinion and why the public with better education need to treat people with lower status. they hate being shamed remember that.

Keep the iphone handy and audio record these ridiculous demands. Then make a formal complaint. Surely racism is illegal, even here.

Why come here and make others condo a hard place to live? Maids are humans too and they deserve to be treated better than this.

if i was the op..id piss them even more by organizing a pool party and ask the fdw to ask all her friends to come over including all the fdw in the complex.
