visitor e-extend

Post by chin_chon » Sun, 06 Jan 2013 10:58 pm

I came on visitor visa to Singapore. This is my first visit to Singapore. I had liked it a lot and want to stay here for some more days. I had a PR relative here. He had applied for my visitor pass initially. I would like to extend my visa for some days after 30 days of my first entry into Singapore.

Do I need his PR details again for e-extend internet online as well?
Do I need to enter Malaysia or other country and re-enter Singapore after my e-extend approval?

Thanks

The information and follow-on links can be found here...

My suggestion is approach this process properly (above), as border-hopping carries the significant risk of you being refused re-entry.

If you successfully extend online, then you do not have to go abroad to somehow 'validate it'. They e-mail you your extension, which you keep in your passport.

Depending on how close of a relative he is, the PR may be able to extend to a total of 89 days.
