i'm in my 30s and when i went into active duty with the US Army about 10 years ago, there were many young soldiers, marines, airmen, sailors and officers serving with me.

although I'm not from the US, my grandfather served in the USAFFE in World war 2 and he died in the Bataan death march so i feel a sort of kinship with the veterans.
