Hi,
Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a wonderful 2013!!
I wanted some advice on launching my business in Singapore. I am interested in making frames and wall hangings. I have created a handful of samples. I wanted to know how I should test the market for customer interest/ reaction to the products before creating more samples.
I believe the products would be of more interest to the expat community. However, I will be able to ascertain the relevant market only after showcasing them properly.
Any suggestions on how I can get started?
I was thinking:
- approaching stores to see if they would be interested in ordering and keeping the products
- participating in small exhibitions and fares held by different clubs and societies (anyone aware of any??)
- sharing a stall some place with someone- e.g. Holland Village - to gauge the reaction.
Also right now I am on a Dependent Pass. Would this pose a problem for starting the business?
Looking forward to getting more ideas. I am super excited about starting my business. Fingers crossed.
