I completely stopped using dlinks wifi routers around 2004 IIRC. The reason: they frequently got frozen/disconnected. Uptime of few days to a week or two at best. Replaced with a Linksys and typical uptime was half-year.
Some other products of dlink seems ok (ip cameras, pci ethernet cards).

i was contemplating buying the asus n66...! it seemed to have rad reviews but my tweaks resolved the problem and i've saved $280.
