Work in psychiatric field in Singapore

Post by Jacquesheidi » Sun, 23 Dec 2012 6:54 pm

I am a Caucasian, with MRCPsych and currently a registrar in Forensic psychiatry in London.
My husband will be transferred to work in Singapore in May2013.
Would I at all be able to find any work in Singapore?
I only want to work part-time, in any area of psychiatry and for any salary.
Hope anyone can give me any advice....

i'm pretty sure you'd find a job as a doctor (not necessarily in forensic psychiatry), but not because you're caucasian...

make sure you bring along all the paper work required for registration as a doctor in singapore.

for more info on what you need to bring, try www.smc.gov.sg

search this forum for more information too. doctor* job* is a good search string.
