Long term pass and Pregnancy

I am SPR since 2005. My wife staying with me on Long term pass. Now she is pregnant. I need to know following info
1) do i need to inform ICA about her prefnancy?
2) What would be medical expense if want to give birth in singapore.

I don't think it's necessary until the birth of the child, but it wouldn't hurt in any case.
