And here I was about to comment about how much free time you have for forum-stalking; apparently you suck at it.

My mate who has only been here two weeks was asking 'are these really human beings?'.
Nope. I can find similar beings in Jakarta. A lot of them are staring their own BB screen right now

Apparently, lot less than you considering how many posts you have garnered in such a short while

Right
There is an expression in England: 'Your card is marked'.
My advice to try and help you, tread carefully and don't p off the mods. They do not take any dung here on this polite and helpful board. Aka 'The nail that sticks up - will be hammered down'. And, right now, if you hadn't already noticed, you are a nail sticking up.
HTH
Thanks for the advice. My comment was not meant to piss off any mods. It was a complement indeed. I mean, I know exactly which country most of the regulars here are from, from their posts, but not the said mod and the comments of SabaiSabai got me thinking about it and I posted it. I believe I am not the only kaypo kaypo type here, am I? Anyways apologies if anyone got offended by it.

No I don't have a masters. Which is why I came to Singapore decades ago to be the token Ang Moh in my company after being in Thailand for years. I then married a local, because being fat, bald, and ill-mannered (as well as being broke and barely graduating from high school) means I couldn't possibly find a partner back home. I now hold my wife's LV handbag for her, avoid eye contact with people daily, scream at people routinely and of course, press the door close button whenever I see anyone rushing into the lift.

I'm honestly surprised you have lasted that long, you seem innately 'wound too tight' and angry to last long in Asia. That's not a personal criticism by the way, just an observation of an apparent contradiction.
Where are you originally from?
I am surprised as well. But where else can I go, no one back home will accept me, so I go to this cesspool that is SE Asia and I am perfectly happy here, because I fit in with the locals. I have been married to a local for 3 decades, and she only put up with me because there's something really wrong with her mentally and she has really low self-esteem. Even my last Isaan girl left me.
PS: I am from an island around 12 hours south of Singapore.

Maybe if you spend all the time posting on this forum post mid-night on working towards a masters, you would have at least graduated from high school and learnt a trade by now.
Just sayin'.

sabaisabai wrote:Singapore is safe? That is the biggest joke I've heard. Almost every other person on the street wants to bite each other's head off. Look at the way they treat (and look) at each other, with pure coldness and malice. Look at the way they squabble and try to do each other in all the time just so they can feel better. Check out parliaments in East Asia, the Taiwanese and Koreans fight in parliament all the time much less on the streets. They don't fight in the Chinese/North Korean Parliament because it is a dictatorship like Singapore but people treat each other the same way, like dirt.

Pot.Kettle.Black?
At 65, I don't reckon I need one. Oh, I have both a trade AND and profession. This is just a hobby. But best of all, I don't hate myself, quite unlike you. You really should seek help.

You reckon?
I wonder if it's just because it's the holiday troll season or if it's a greater malaise of the current economic uncertainties regarding FTs in Singapore that's got everybody on a short leash?
Good idea. Consider it done.

My personal guess is OSOD is bored of the "posting on a forum" thing and just trying to see how far he has to push to get banned. Wd/Call/Rev/whatever is just angry he got outed by a coworker and likely embarrassed, considering he posted pretty much everything about himself short of his quarterly portfolio statements. If he didn't erase most of his posts, we could probably reverse engineer his net worth to within a few lakh :p
