Wow. Standing by for the xenophobic vitriol knob to be turned up to 11.
Be careful what you wish for

Almost sounds like the PAP is hell bent on retiring after the next GE.

Mine is up for renewal this year but with a trip to Bangkok for CNY with the family I think I will wait until my return before moving forwards with it.

I have until July so no big rush.

That is unless the powers-that-be decide to 'knee-jerk' a rule change with no notice, like they seem to love doing with the property rules.

Interesting, mine is also this July :) but IIRC you can do it only 3 months before the expiration date.

When times fly and Singapore PR is getting harder year by year.

Now comes to 2013, we have heard that many people outside crying when they are applying PR nowadays. Even the basic Employment Pass and S pass are also hard to apply nowadays, let alone PR! Below are some of the website link and indicate how tough applying PR today.

Be sure to give more comments and testimonials this year when anyone got their renewal results.

- First link is from a company advertising to help people with PR applications.
- Second link is an article written by the company in the first link and published on another site in 2011.
- Third link looks to be reasonible and recent (Sep 2012).
- Fourth link is from 2010.

Far too much old news confusing the issues along with articles written by biased authors (i.e. companies who make money 'helping' people apply for PR status).

That's why nobody has replied to it since it was posted. We all checked and saw the ruse. Thought initially solicitation, but there you go. Still watching though as the legal sites might just be a red herring. to get the first two links to stay. I've debated "editing" the posts but just haven't done it.

Still tic...toc'ing......
