Hi
I have been in Singapore for 3 weeks now and have two children. My 4 year old I will put into pre-school but I'm looking for a playgroup in the Robertson Quay area for my 2.5 year old.

Can anyone help out with this, also any info as to what they are like over here. Is it the same as Australia where you pay x amount for a term and stay there with your child and chat to other parents for a couple of hours?

Any help/info would be appreciated.

Thanks

There are a lot of different playgroups. You can try to google or even register at meetup.com and find anything suitable for ur kids.

Thanks for your response natalyakir1. I have since joined the meetup group, it's a good site for things to do. Thanks again.

Hi and welcome to Singapore

There are a few playgroups in your area, as well as local montessori schools where you can now drop off as your child is 2.5 years old.

Before my son started playgroup (at 2 years old), I took him to the partent/toddler classes at Bibinogs which is at UE square on River Valley Road, not far from Robertson Walk. Also, there's a JWT gym in the same place which do classes for all ages.

As for activities for both kids, you should check out this blog http://singaporekids365.com/. It has loads of reviews of all the child-friendly places around Singapore.

I've been here a while now so feel free to PM or pick my brain. Now my son is in school 5 days I could even meet for coffee one morning if that's better for you.
