Luggage Repair Services

Postby BillyB » Mon, 10 Dec 2012 4:53 pm

Hello,

Can anyone recommend a luggage repair shop that can fix broken fabric handles?

Some only repair superficial damage and wheels.

Thanks in advance,

Billy

IF it's a popular brand, I'd try two things:
1) See if they have authorized repair shops in Singapore. Lots of big luggage brands do, some of them are even located in hotels. (Rimowa for example)
2) If you don't get a good response from anyone else, I'd ask this question on Flyertalk's Singapore forum. I don't know personally; my luggage isn't fabric and they have their own local repair place.

Hi Billy,

Try Mirrco luggage repair on Middle Road (Bylands Bldg). I've been there a few times over the years, had good results and not felt like I was paying the foreigner tax.

Second that suggestion - old chinese guy and his wife run the shop and are of the old school "can" mentality!
