Yello at Clarke Quay usually has a band in the evening, and I've seen some decent cover bands. But the problem is even then they're not going to be banging it out as per the originals... simply because there is not enough of a market for music that 'heavy'.
p.s. a relative plays lead in a local band. He can play gittar behind his head, play with his teeth ... basically give it some serious freakin welly, but when his band goes out and plays venues/gigs they really tone it down because unfortunately that's where the market is.

Thanks for the advice.
I would be interested in meeting any musician that would would like to explore art/music of early Genesis (see Youtube MUSICAL BOX Genesis with Pete Gabriel for example).
I play drums badly myself.
Niche market I know but what the heck !
