EP pending

Post by NBB too » Fri, 17 Dec 2004 4:47 pm

Hello,

My EP is pending (still). I just received a call from the Utility people, requesting that I fax them the MoM letter stating that the process is still on-going.

My question is 2-fold:

1. Can the utility people evict me if the EP application takes too long, i.e. is there a maximum number of appeals allowed before they evict me/shut down the power?

2. Is there any truth to the remark I recently heard that there is a cap on the maximum number of days anyone can remain in Singapore while on a social pass? IOW, apparently they add up all the sociall pass days you've been granted, presumably in 1 year, and stop granting any more social passes after you've exceeded this cap. (Could not find anything about this on their site).

Cheers for that.
