Weekday lunches at Raffles Place
I tried the same last year -get some people together for lunch in CBD to meet some new faces. Lots of posts, nobody really comitting a day or time. I'd still be up for it. My lesson learned was: Announce it at least a week in advance as people are not checking this forum too regularly.
So why not make it concrete: As many take the next week off, how about Monday 18th Feb? Any preference on the place? I love Korean, so I throw in "Bibigo!" at the MBFC as an idea.

I saw this way too late"anyone up for lunch next Monday? something other than Penny Black?
I've had too much ang moh food in the meantime... something local would be a nice change"
Getting anyone on my team (except my two local colleagues) to venture away from cedele and gastronmia is impossible
few ideas of places I want to try - and about 10 stalls at lau pa sat
but can't pm... growl growl growl
contactclarewilliams at Gee Mail if anyone intersted after CNY? Wed-Fri this coming week should be quite quiet. I try and get away at dead on 12 or 2 to avoid crowds

so if anyone is up for lunch on 18th, please contact ChrisCH or myself...
Mr. Irish FFS-I-need-beer-for-lunch, do you want to join? It's a Monday though, too early for me to start drinking.
On a side note, nothing to do with weekday lunch at all... I want to go to the evening flea market at CHIJMES lawn (9 March. Caveat: I might possibly travel for work so may back out in that event). Bargain hunting then dinner/drinks at one of restaurants/bars.
I intend to bring my toddler along, so looking for young families/couples w or wo kids/family-friendly individuals who don't mind hanging out and drinking in this manner. PM me if you're keen

My thread...The Weekenders If you need my e-mail address, it's in the first post of the thread.
How are the lunches going?
Hi!
I don't know if the thread has been laid to rest with a RIP tombstone but I'm going to just try my luck!
I just shifted to raffles place as a strategist/planner for the Mad Men so am up for lunches as well!
Can't PM yet so leaving my email address here: kai.to.kay AT gmail.com
Next week Wed (8/5) is good for me.
Maybe at The Rotisserie 51 Telok Ayer Street
#01-01 China Square Food Centre
The ad industry is a bit unpredictable but I'll try and grab whoever is not overworking to be there at 1-130.
Just drop me a note to let me know you'll be there in case I have to cancel!

Re: How are the lunches going?
Hi, I'll try my luck as well since I've just noticed this thread. I'm also working in the CBD, so if anyone is interested in having lunch together just let me know. Maybe at Lau Pa Sat?strat wrote:Hi!
