can they stretch the forum frame a little wider?

i think most people have monitors bigger than mine (12.5")
and there're some excess real estate
(if you'll pardon the pun) on the left and right...

my screen resolution is 1366 x 768

My monitor width is 23", the max text width of a post now seems to be just 6.5".

For those that missed it, the admin added a "Change screen size" option roughly under the words "EXPATS FORUM" above the posts.

Go here:

http://forum.singaporeexpats.com/ftopic91967-30.html

Additionally, for the message panel look in the lower right corner you will see to little diagonal lines. Click and drag on those lines and you can resize the panel to your liking. I really like that as now I can see the entire message I'm typing at one time without scrolling.

In the above:

Taxico's cut/paste screenshot gets chopped off at the right margin right where 'Map' appears in the image of the Toolbar

ZZM's post is chopped on the right through the word 'above the'

And SMS's on 'Click and drag on thos'.

If the Admins or who ever want a screenshot, just ask.

The layout is off at some threads.

http://forum.singaporeexpats.com/ftopic ... highlight=

1. After the second poster, the rest of the posts are within the same post frame, as if it has been quoted by second poster but these were all individual posts.

2. Side ad disappears from designated spot and appears like sore thumb after last post at the bottom.

BTW I use Chrome.

Tried again this morning. So many things are broken now. I'm outta here. I'll check back in a few weeks but I can't be stuffed dealing with a broken forum. Admin - nice way to lose posters who bring traffic for your revenue ads.
Now I'm called PNGMK

Word wrap fails when there are quotes. I don't have screenshots but it happened on Chrome on Ubuntu 12.04

Solved. Problem arises after I tried to use a script to do wordwrap and it wordwraps </table> and becomes </tab> instead! !

Thanks!

I appreciate the effort to rectify it despite of many initial hiccups of this new layout.
