EP Renewal

Post by belladonna » Mon, 03 Dec 2012 6:11 pm

The HR officer for my company applied for my Employment Pass renewal last week and when I checked three days later status was rejected. She then asked for a clearer copy of my passport, saying that the one they had on file was not clear. I know that they used the older copy of my passport for my application last year, so I'm a little nervous that HR might not be telling me everything just yet. MOM sometimes informs employers of the reasons for rejection, don't they?

Maybe it is not correct to mix ICA and MOM in the same salad, but...
My friend from travel agency who sometimes helps with visas - he told me that not only ICA never tells, but per his experience when he was in ICA trying to argue about the reasons of rejection, the woman was frantically turning the monitor away from him so he won't see the screen...
