how to find donor in Singapore?

Post by medicalsoft » Sat, 01 Dec 2012 2:50 pm

Life is suffering. We want to have a baby for 6 years after get married. We have done health examination in KK hospital in Singapore. Doctor told us that we are difficult to have children because of fertility problems related to egg production. Doctor suggests us using donated eggs.

Do u have any idea how to find egg donor in Singapore, any website? any clinic? any contact? any country? Tks
If you know. Would you please drop me email [email protected]

Am I addressing Norman or Melody? Why would it take over three years for you to find a donor? Especially seeing you are offering free airline tickets and $10,000 SGD for a donor? Are you sure you are looking to have a baby? Seems if you both come from a fortune 500 company and are expats in Singapore, and are from Doctor backgrounds as you claim, you would be able to find a donor easily.

Or, are you an egg broker? Your broken English sounds like you might be from one of our Asian neighbours. Care to give us some clarification. I know it's a sensitive topic but just google your email address and then tell me what conclusion you would draw with all the posts over the last 3 years......

Frankly speaking, we have done 3 times of IVF in KK hospital, gleneagles hospital since 2010. all failed. Couples in IVF center spend a lot of money and hope to get pregnant with IVF to fulfill dreams. please imagine the heartache. There are no choice for me and my husband. We do not want to give up. that is the reason why we need a donor to start IVF in KK hospital again. Tks.

IME - KK sucks for IVF. Spend some real money and go to Gleneagles.... Prof Chris Chen. They'll be able to help you locate and egg donor if you're legit.

I'm not too sure how bad they are. Me best friend and his Indo wife did IVF at KK and now they have triplets. 3 very healthy, active 18 month old boys!

I've been through both... GE is better but considerably more expensive.

If you are unable to have a baby naturally, doesn't that tell you something? there must be a biological reason for it!

Why not adopt? It'd be giving an opportunity to a baby that would otherwise be void of opportunity. Rather than forcing nature to work by implanting eggs etc etc.

Just saying, it's my opinion! I always discussed with my wife before our kids were born, we tried a while and we said, if we couldn't have them naturally then we would either not bother or adopt!

HI There, Thank you for your comments and suggestion. I would like to share our experience for IVF. KK hospital, 9K, high standard of patient care, but lots of people. most of them are Singaporeans (goverment subsidies). Gleneagles: 17K, our doctor is Dr.Kumar. nice service, but really expensive.

Doctor told us that we are very difficult to have children because of fertility problems related to egg production. Doctor suggests us using donated eggs. We are looking for caucasian donor to fulfill our dreams. Adoption will be last choice. Tks

Hello Offshoreoildude. It is legit to have a donor in Singapore. Doctor told me that they will submit application to MOH and will get approval. But hospital will not find any donor for patient. Tks

That's good to know (about MOH) - also not surprising to know that donors are rare. Do you need eggs or sperm? Ask around your family maybe?
