The Smile Cliniques (Bukit Timah- though I understand they have branches at Circular Road and Seng Kang) is the most egregious example of SYSTEMATIC OVERBOOKING I have ever experienced!

After 2 hours of waiting, the dentist decided to clear the backlog by shortchanging me. She did a REAL rush job on my teeth and I was out in 10 minutes! That was about 3 minutes with my mouth open! I asked about my teeth's condition, and she said they were "really clean." Needless to say, I was not reassured and went to another dentist.

I came home bitching- and two of my family said they got the same service over a period of 6 months! I will never be back again!

Wow so all your family went to the same place, believed they got poor service, and yet later you still went there too. Why would you do that?

Sorry to hear about your experience. personally, I have a innate fear of dentists (probably due to some unresolved childhood trauma) but the guys at T32 Camden are awesome. If you have young kids, you must check out their junior suite. My girl absolutely loves the princess-themed room (& the movie Frozen that was playing in front of her)

You can look for Dr Gail Willow or Dr Sian Jenkin. I believe their main line is 67331388.

GPA dental is good. They have a few branches and even have movies to entertain the little ones. However, they are not very cheap but I still use them for my little girls.

I like Dr Monique Goh at Q&M in City Square. Gentle and doesn't rush you or push you into expensive things you don't want (but if you want, she can do). I've been through about 20 dentists and decided I'll stay with the her. I have pretty crappy teeth and she's done a lot of work fixing them up and I'm quite happy with the result.

I still use and recommend the one I mentioned in this topic two years ago (6/12/12).

No idea what braces cost, surely a very subjective matter given the variability of work required. In fact I'd be sceptical of any dentist who could 'magic up' a quote off the top of their head.

I have a dentist at Thomson Dental Center. Her name is Ash, even though she looked young she is really qualified!

Do feel free to call TDC hotlines to get an appointment for her.

I also think T32 in Camden is really good. Dr. Paul Wong (previously from from Smile Focus) takes good time to understand patients and is very gentle. The cost turned out quite reasonable compared to other "high-end" clinics.

I haven't heard of anyone selling them over the counter but most dentists make them I would think. I had mine done by Paul at t32 as mentioned in my earlier post.
