I guess OSOD's taking the maximum security alert
Unfortunately for OP, I don't see Gay/Les people in this forum (or perhaps they decide to come out later) :D

Seriously, does it really matter whether the other person is gay/les? We're all human beings living on the same little red dot. Sure, some are more conservative than others. And some are more liberal.

We are one, but we are not the same. That's why we get to carry each other to get along.

Sorry, gotta somehow quote Bono on this... :P

Problem is, I've encountered some bigots (pardon my word) who yell about how they hate LGBT, and it's kinda frustrating. I have some gay friends, and actually, they are smarter than me. It's nice to hang out with them too

Smart isn't a product of gender bias, last I heard! :P

But we have/had a number of LGBT member of this forum. Some stick around for a while, but most eventually gravitate towards forums more geared to that lifestyle. We don't have any problems with them being here at all. Well, maybe some do, but the vast majority here are pretty open.

Well SMS, although I totally agree with what you're saying with the amount of people who are pretty open in this forum (or even in the entire world if you wanna see the bigger picture) truth be told, not much are done by them that can overturn those fanatic conservatives whose bark are louder and bite stronger than the open-minded ones.

I shall end this with an often disputed quote... "All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing"

Akimbo, that is very much like what I normally say if you have read enough of my posts here...

If you aren't part of the solution, you are part of the problem. ;-)

Cheers,
