TEACHER SALARY

Post by SPQR » Tue, 27 Nov 2012 10:30 am

I have just been offered a teaching position with the MOE - not sure which school I am going to yet - I am UK trained with 10 years experience - 5 years in International Schools. I haven't been given any information about salary or accommodation. Can anyone shed any light ??? Thanks. :)

So they offered you a job but didn't tell you the salary? That's weird. :???:

They told me it would depend on which school I am selected for - never come across this before - hence why I am waiting to accept ! Renting apps seem very expensive too - especially near school locations - may have to rethink this one ! :o

That's interesting. I don't have any knowledge of the education sector, but I'd suggest you do a search of the forum as I'm pretty sure that teachers' salaries etc. have been discussed a few times in the fairly recent past.
