More than enough. There is nothing much in Batam really. Unless you're a ambitious golf player and want to cover every single hole in every golf course available.JamesTan1 wrote:also..m goin there for 4 nights....so is it enough to explore all of it...
That'd be Galang island which can be reached by the bridges they've built. The camp also had Cambodians. Personally I thought it was a lot nicer before they did all the renovation, but it's still worth a visit if you're into the history. The seafood restaurant there was also good, but I haven't been there in about 6 years so don't know if it's still any good.carteki wrote:One unknown sight in Batam is the Vietnamese boat people repatriation centre which has been turned into a little museum. Batam was where all the boat people from Vietnam arriving in SEA were sent to and from then they were sent onto various different countries. You'll need a car and driver to get there, but well worth the visit.
