To make it work with savings, you can rent a hdb master bedroom only for your whole family (900-1500/month depending on location), your primary age child will study at public schools at about 550 per month, your preschool kid will need to be at a kindergarten which may cost from 200 per month (PCF) to about 1500 per month. You can also homeschool your preschool kid if you are confident that you can prepare him/her for primary schooling. You can still eat out frequently if you eat at the food courts or hawker centers ($4 to $10 per meal). Buying from the wet market and cooking at home will be cheaper. You will not be able to afford a car. Overseas trips to go back home will be expensive also and to be able to save you may decide to limit your family to 1 trip every 2 years.
Thanks for valuable comments.

Yes, here in Finland, schooling and healthcare is provided free to all Finns and foreign residences.
I was aware that I'll not be saving but now I guess survival will be a challenge in Singapore with that salary.

How is health care system working in Singapore? I guess, I have to purchase health insurance. How much a moderate healthcare coverage plan costs for an adult and two children per year?
