Yes we do protect Singapore against users and losers but we are also all very conscious that we are here as guests of the government and can be gone in a day.
You came to Singapore when it had 2 million people so you could have become a citizen or PR ages ago. Why you kept going on EPs?

You think 1st, then type. You are talking abt us at all???
There are
a lot of hot topics about where to go at the moment.
And you can't even imagine how many people here are packing their suitcases at the moment. Even those who are reasonably safe according to current MOM regulations.
Haven`t seen any. Where are they posted? And what are the most popular destinations?
I'm so sorry to be lazy to retype what you can find yourself in some recent topics. And nobody is supposed to shout "I'm going!" - some people are here, on forum, some I know, many more are planning, even more - sitting tight, but preparing to leave any moment. I'll do my last twitch, but myself prone to think about leaving as well.
Go browse "General discussions" for popular destinations.

I'm a PR phuckwit. Please leave. Now. We don't need deadbeats, losers, stepping stoners, PR collectors, Visa collectors, Money Launderers, Russian gangsters, Chinese 'well connected' peeps or any of that here in Sinky.

They are willing to pay 75-120k AUD for 1-3 yrs exp guys. In Singapore, the person wont get even 50K SGD for this role.
Also the number of job openings in Australia is no match for Singapore.
Caveat emptor: after taxes, that would be 54k to 85k. Still better though, even if Sydney is probably the most expensive city to live in Oz. Melbourne's also known for IT.

Melbourne might be known, but at least two thirds of IT market is in Sydney. Canberra is also interesting for government positions. Melbourne is third and has far less opportunities. Although expenses in Melbourne can be up to 30% less than Sydney salaries are also lower. It evens out I guess, income and expenses...

Sydney can't accommodate everyone who wants to live there. Same way Singapore can't have everyone who wants to move there.

How is the PR situation with Australia, though, at the moment? With Singapore almost closing its doors to the biggest PR users/abusers group, I am guessing a lot of that traffic is going to route to Australia? Does Australia have any such racial profiling of PR applications? How is it for IT guys to get a PR there?

They just recently changed the rules in July so it's tough to say (you need to submit an expression of intent to apply and wait to be given the green light to apply). AFAIK, there is no overt/implied racial profiling involved as they still go by point system. IT is very competitive as you have the leagues of Indians and Pakistanis always applying for PR.

IF you're in a desired profession is it much easier (or with family ties). You can find out about the point system online I believe.

NB: I would have put the link here but I wanted to put a simple barrier to keep away masters holders with no common sense or people who are too lazy (and like to be spoonfed).
