Approximately 4,500 $ plus shift allowances, if you do the night calls, plus 800 $ housing allowance, I think.

Doesn't SGH publish this anymore ?

Where is your MBBS from ?

I am sure you know how to proceed

If your MBBS is from Baroda, I doubt there will be room for negotiation, as SGH and the clusters have sort of fixed the pay scale

Probably already done. If you weren't shortlisted, you wouldn't know. Otherwise, they probably won't shortlist until January.

Adding on, the preference is for Singaporeans who did medical degree overseas.

Others get second or third preference

Going by the SingHealth past recruitments, the turnaround can be more upto 6 months, from the time you apply, before they ask you to submit documents for License approval

It means that they want scanned copies of all the documents. If you want to be considered, then I'd suggest you do exactly as they request. Does it mean anything? Probably not but if you don't do it, it will mean a lot of negative.

After HR reviews the application, what is the next thing they do ?? How much time they take to finalize a candidate ?? Do they arrange for an interview ??

The general answer to your question is that once they have received scans of all of your documents, they will begin to perform a document review. If you have left out any documents that they think they want, they will contact you and ask that you send scans as well.

Once they know they have all the documents they want, they will verify them. If they are educational transcripts, they will contact every educational institution to verify that the documents are real and that they correctly state your degree, hours, grades earned, etc.

They will do the same with all of the other documents you have provided, whether job history, certifications and credentials, recommendations, or others. How long the document verification process takes depends upon how easily each institution/person can be contacted and how quickly they respond.

Once they are satisfied that what you have given them is legitimate and correct, they will probably then give you at least a telephone interview, and may invite you for a face to face interview at their expense.

Like SMS says, you need to give them what they want. It appears they are interested enough in you and your application to ask for more information. Failure to provide everything they want will raise red flags, and giving them everything they want greatly increases the possibility that you will get an interview of some sort.

Slight correction to what strong eagle said.

As a doctor, your documents will be forwarded to SMC, and depending upon which country you are from, you may need to submit notarized copies.

And, in exceptional cases your university may be contacted directly to verify the credentials.

Wait out 6 months plus ...

They used to pay very low allowance for fellowship.

The queue for NNI was long as well.

Does stipend matter if you want to work in NNI ?

And a foreign doctor I know gave me a funny look when I asked if she remembers the questions that were asked. Isn't it a bit like having a cheat sheet at an exam ?
