Aaugh - definitely NOT Ikea!! We spent $50 ON ONE SHEET (queen size)....and this was not any Egyptian cotton xxx threadcount sheet - I'm not even sure it was pure cotton....that has been (to date) my most horrifying purchase (although I'm sure there will be more)....thanks for the info on these other stores - I'll have to check them out, as I'm still looking for info on some low cost, OK quality store(s) in Singapore....

Good luck, and let me know if you find something. If I recall, you're American, so don't get your hopes up for anything like Target-quality or even Walmart for this stuff.

Robinsons at Centrepoint or Raffles City. They have a good selection of cotton sheets and nice quality towels, and there is usually some good discounts or offers to be had.

We bought a bunch of such stuff there too, and it worked out fine.

I can imagine you wandering round and feeling-up the bed sheets on a Sunday morning!

I wrote a dazzlingly witty response (naturally), but have decided to rise above your low humour instead

Not sure if you shipped in your mattress but it is better for you to buy your bed sheet set locally if you already bought your mattress here.

Other posters already suggested Robinson's but I'm adding few in the list:

Tang's
Aussino
BHG

I assume you're looking for fitted sheets right?

We bought 2 flat and 2 fitted sheets and kissed $200 good bye....I never thought I'd obsess this much about SHEETS, nor did I ever think I'd really miss Target and CVS - go figure!
