Pte Ltd Company with no business income yet

Post by vijsrinp » Mon, 05 Nov 2012 7:18 am

Hello,

I'm currently sole DIRECTOR + SHAREHOLDER of a Pte Ltd Company with no employees and transactions (meaning no business income). However I may have an opportunity to undertake a small consulting contract overseas.

With no employees in the company, as sole DIRECTOR:

(a) Can I sign the new contract on behalf of the company and perform the consulting myself though I'm not officially an EMPLOYEE?

(b) Can I invoice & receive payments?

(c) Can I seek reimbursement on business expenses for securing/performing this contract?

Thanks for your advise in advance.

Rgds,
Vijsrinp
