As soon as she leave her job, her employment pass will be canceled.

Singapore doesn't care what kind of pass she has in Switzerland. Why should they? She cannot stay in Singapore on a Swiss pass can she? Of course not. So the question is kind of redundent. She can only stay in Singapore on a work pass OR a Singapore dependent pass.

You may have to send her back home in between. If her staying in Singapore is dependent on your EP/WP in SINGAPORE then she has no right to stay on once your Singapore EP is cancelled.
I can't really believe Switzerland is this short handed...

It would appear that both are on EP/work permits so it's not a real problem for her. However, I would agree with your last statement, 100%. What WERE they thinking!?!

vijju56 wrote:yeah, she is also on EP. First, I will be getting swiss work permit as a primary applicant. After 2 months, she will get a dependent permit. So, my questions are
1. Can she work in singapore on employment pass before she gets a swiss dependent permit
Yes - provided her Singapore EP is valid
2. Even after getting swiss dependent permit, can she work in singapore for couple of months more as there might be a possibility that her singapore employer might request her to do so
Yes - provided her Singapore EP is valid
You need to understand something - Switzerland and Singapore are INDEPENDENT countries - the two systems are not coupled nor co-dependent.

vijju56,
Can I ask you a serious question?
What in the hell is the matter with your brain? Is it switched off or what? It's been answered several times here already. You are going to switzerland to be a what? Crash-Test Dummy? For cripes sake. How much plainer can we make it.
As long as your wife is working for a company in Singapore she will have an employment pass. The day she either quits or is fired from her job, only then will she lose her Employment Pass. FULL STOP.
She is NOT changing CITIZENSHIP. That is the only way Singapore would give a damn about Switzerland and/or India. You must definitely have an Indian Masters, yeah?
For crying out loud!
