Thanks for the warning.Strong Eagle wrote:I'm doing a SIN to IAH flight later in December. Security also totally sucks at DME. One or two people uselessly checking passports and stamping forms so that you can walk in a big circle right back into the same room you just walked out of. Leaves no time to hit the lounges... such as they are... or the shops... such as they are.offshoreoildude wrote:Damn. Does anyone or do they all go through that secuity shithole Narita?
I can see SQ upgrading the Singapore to IAH flight to a 100% J class as well.

Now I'm called PNGMK
Would this be a case of them not learning their own lesson, from SIN-EWR?
Rhetorical question......
Since CX was mentioned, must admit the LHR-HKG cattle-class flight I took a year ago was not very comfortable, despite what I had expected. The seats do not recline, they swivel in the same position. Food was awful. Service was pretty good.

Not sure what CX flies to LHR, but I hate their older A330s. I fly them pretty regularly to many places, especially HKG, and will often take a flight that is a few hours less convenient just to get onto one of the newer 777s. Luckily I usually get into Business, with an upgrade to first occasionally (which SQ *never* does by policy; part of the reason I use CX), but do have to sit economy sometimes. I just did SYD to HKG this weekend in economy on an older A330. It was horribly. Luckily I got one of the extra legroom rows.Brah wrote:Would this be a case of them not learning their own lesson, from SIN-EWR?
