Hi all,
Our family of 4 (1 x 3yr old girl and 1 x newborn) will be moving from NZ to Singapore next April. As my husband's work will be around Jurang(or around the uni) We hope someone can recommend which area is nice to live- we're looking at a 4 bedrooms
condo with swimming pool plus not too far from MRT and market(As I'm from Taiwan so I don't mind the wet market at all.. or any sort of market i can do my quick daily shopping) but most importantly close to a good kindy for my 3 year old to go to.(perferably walking distance)
Any suggestion is much appreciated!
cheers
Stacy

If the "uni" is NTU then I believe there is only one
condo in the direct surrounding. For Jurong (JurOng) West there is a condo cluster between Jurong Point and Chinese Gardens (and slightly further East and South). There are maybe dozen plus of them only in the area so you may easily visit them all in a day or two and make up your mind from direct viewing. There are a few of them almost sitting on the MRT line and very close to Chinese Garden (nice place for walking). There is more than enough food/shopping infrastructure in the vicinity plus a mega-mall IMM only 2-4km away.

It may be a long shot but thought I would still give it a go. Anyone in the west who would be keen for a cuppa & a play date for a 8 year old girl?...

I like SE facing as well, nothing too glaring and warm and also, North-South facing.

Anyone stays around the Haw Par Villa area?
How do you find this area? Is it scary at night to walk past the vicinity?

I think Abbby is thinking more in terms of ghosts, gobblins and The Ten Courts Of Hell. :-k
