Hiring a Filipina Direct

Hi

I would like to hire a live in maid directly from PHP. Well she has worked before in Singapore for 15 years.
Is it a simple procedure as just applying an IPA and bring her in ?

Do I need to take her to the embassy or do any other formalities. ?
