which one for apps for children to learn either mandarin or maths on their own. also, overall, which is better for apps for children.

get an ipad and you won't regret it. tons of apps (for kids) and very easy to use. don't forget to turn off the in-app purchase first thing though.

bought one when my dd was 2 yrs old, and simply the best 'toy' ever. learnt reading, math, chinese, you name it. but best of all, give you a lot of precious time off.

fast forward 2 yrs later, it now has scratches and crack line all over (only the back), plastic cover keep getting peeled until i don't bother to cover it anymore, dented on all corners due to daily banging on the floor and wall, some with visible opening of the inside, but still functioning as if it is new.

there are periods when she was totally glued to it, but it went away and now she can manage it better (but maybe because i also seldom installing new apps now)
