To be fair, I have to admit, the one time I went to the Shaw Balestier Cineplex it was uncharacteristically warm for a building in Singapore.

As it was such a run-down, dirty and noisy place, I've never gone back, so don't know if it was a one-off.

Other than that, cinemas have been too cold 90% or more of the time.

Whenever one is comfortable I find myself remarking as such, as it is so infrequent. I like being able to not wear layers of clothes.

Well, we, and another couple who are friends of ours and on a separate occasion, requested our money returned after a movie that was too cold.

We both got our money back - if you complain, so will you, plus you just might contribute to helping fix this idiocy.

I think what's worse is not complaining and allowing it to continue.
