Help!! Where can I donate a sofa

Post by Zeenit » Sun, 14 Oct 2012 9:18 pm

I have a 1 yr old sofa that needs a good home. I tried advertising it on Gumtree and the person that said they coming too collect was just treating it as a joke.

I have left a message at the Salvation Army but they have never returned my call.
Any idea what I can do to get rid of this sofa?

Any help appreciated.

Have you tried our classified from the tab at the top of the page?

Or craigslist? Or Locanto? Or AdPost?

Or, put a price tag on it and set it outside. Someone will steal it.

I did this with an old water heater in the US. Sat in my front yard for a week. Put a "for sale - $30" on it on Saturday morning, was gone by 10 AM.

Seriously, if you advertise in any of the above, use pictures and update re post every day or two as the ads slide down into oblivion.

Have you tried cash converters?

Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose, so let me simply add that it's my very good honor to meet you and you may call me V.
