I doubt it's to do with your soon-to-expire passport.

At age 21 you will have limited, if any, work experience. That's more likely the reason. The fact you studied here means nothing nowadays, as you should know. Appealing a rejection without presenting anything new will result in the same thing again.

Nay. My colleague renewed his passport before his EP extension. Still rejected. And now, the appeal status is still pending (the appeal process was done 2 weeks ago).

I wouldn't hold your breath for this. You're appealing at the minimal possible salary, and you're a fresh grad. What do you bring to Singapore that any of your fellow Singaporean classmates lack? If it was a highly demanded position, or you had niche skills, training or education, your employer should be willing to pay you more.

Additionally, they will see the higher salary on appeal and compare it with the previously quoted salary and know that there is a kickback scheme going on. This could possibly get you permanently kicked out of Singapore for trying to defraud the MoM. Unless of course, the subsequent application was made under a different company.

+1. I'll be glad to see the OP gone, offense intended. OP; You're undoubtedly perpetuating or at least enabling a vile scheme which has hurt the citizens and their children of this nation.

(sorry SMS)
