Hi, we are thinking of taking our new car (!) and 2 kids over to Malaysia for a few days. Can anyone suggest anywhere? Thanks

You can definitely consider Malacca for a few days. 2 hr drive up. Try to go on a weekend for their weekend nite market. How old are your kids? If young like mine, I can recommend some animal farms.

1. Malacca for historical, cultural and family fun.
2. Desaru for beach resort.
3. Port Dickson for beach.

Both locations are within 2 to 3 hours' of drive.

If you want any further:

1. Cameron Highlands (for hill resorts and farms)
2. Genting Highlands (for theme parks, resorts and some farms)
3. Kuala Lumpur (another metropolitan city)
4. Bukit Tinggi (for golf, farms, French-inspired hill resort)

Do visit the Ostrich Farm. My girls loved it!
