PR Application Check

Postby farhanhq79 » Sun, 07 Oct 2012 2:02 am

Hi
Recently I submitted my application for PR.
Not sure it would be worth it but what I have read on this forum, doesnt seems to be a good time for it.

33
Married
UK Masters Telecom Qualification
Pakistani
In Singapore since Feb'11
Salary: 4700/-
P2 holder

I use to work in a European Multinational bank but due to job security left it and joined a big local ICT company. Initially was not planning to apply for PR but gave it a thought & did that in Sept'12. Paid my taxes and as am Muslim so paid my Zakat too over here (not sure it will help).
The way things are turning out from the forum users, chances seems to be less.

Like to know the thoughts, positive or negative, all are welcome :).

Regards,

Farhan

In the past, some people could get PR even after a short stay. But not today. Perhaps if you have a child (a boy to be exact), your chance to get PR is better. How about your wife? Does she work?

About the Zakat, which is considered as donation, I don't think it will help that much.
