House party.. Am hosting a house party in my condo at Hume ave on 6th Oct.

Looking for laid back people who would like to socialise with a working professional crowd.

Sounds like a open casting call for 'masters' holders. Good luck. It's been tried before with mixed results.

Hey, have fun organising the party.

Word from the wise and the experienced (not me; my friend who did the same before):

1. Really really vet through all your PMs of your interested 'guests'. To put it short, some people are not really what they claim they are in the PM. Otherwise you will have unpleasant surprises. My friend did that to his condo in Selegie Road and let's just say, he didn't like what he didn't know about his guests the moment he saw them.

2. Depending on the type of party, check with your condo management on any rules and regulations. You don't want your party to be kicked out unceremoniously by condo management (and police, if they show up).

3. Really, be very careful of who you choose to reveal your address/phone number to.

4. Safest option: Do a bring-a-friend party instead. Safety comes in familiarity.

It will be a sausage fest, just in time for Oktoberfest.
